Headed off on Monday morning after traffic had cleared down the highway . Was good to finally get going after holding back as there was major rain forecast over the weekend. Ultimately only Sydney was really badly affected.
The driver was going smoothly until I got stuck in traffic approx 45min south… which must have occurred just a few minutes after I left home.
My plan when I hit Grafton was to head to the tourist info center to get some local info and be ready for exploring the area … alas… it is closed on a Mon !
So after a quick shop I travelled a little down south and free camped in Bom Bom State Forest Park. No amenities here but did the job. I was also the only one here for the night .
Luckily the sleeping bag was warm enough …so that’s good news !
