I went to the Qantas Air Hangar Museum…which is actually Darwin motor enthusiasts club location. They have everything in there… just loaded with cars, bikes, trucks, engines, locomotives…its all there!
Never realised car spokes were wooden!
During one of my meanderings I stumbled upon a resin art gallery and spoke to the lady there, who runs workshops. I have been interested in learning how to do resin art since I saw several great examples in galleries around Hawaii. Now I had time…so asked Maureen when her next workshop is. She said, whenever you want it, I don’t need minimal numbers. So, I had a great time making my resin art on canvas. You have to work fast as the resin sets quickly in Darwin’s heat. I think I got the beach look that I was going for? Maybe I will be a beach bum and sell my resin art at markets?

I also stopped by the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory , which has art works, natural and history artefacts with a large hall of ships and canoes of these parts , many used to try and immigrate illegally to Australia.
